Kyoto, Japan-headquartered Omron Corporation has collaborated with Cognizant, a leading global consulting and technology services company, to introduce an end-to-end digital transformation solution for manufacturing. The combined IT-OT solution will enable manufacturers to digitize and mechanize their operations for increased efficiency, agility, and sustainability.

Omron contributes to the tie-up its extensive catalog of more than 200,000 industrial automation products and technologies, from sensors and controllers to safety devices and robots. These enable real-time acquisition and processing of data at shop floor levels to create millisecond-by-millisecond information on machine performance and production-related information. Nine decades of experience in the company make it a deep influencer in industrial automation.

Cognizant provides its IT experience such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital twin modeling, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Having its strong consulting heritage, it can assist in large-scale digital transformation initiatives by architecting and implementing end-to-end enterprise IT infrastructure.
