This expansion drew a $55 million Series B round led by General Catalyst, with participation from top investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures, Accel, and Regents of the University of California, to a total of $125 million.
One of the main reasons for Sprinter Health’s success is that it has a cutting-edge technology-driven logistics system. It pre-sets its clinical staff, including certified medical assistant phlebotomists and community health workers, schedules and routes so that they can visit up to 12 patients a day. By reducing travel time and optimizing patient contact, Sprinter Health maximizes in-home healthcare’s efficiency and outreach.
The firm provides its services free of charge to participants of aligned health insurance programs such as Medicare and Medicaid.
